José Raúl Zuñiga is cataloged as one of the best strikers in the current Liga de Expansion, due to his speed, power and mischief inside the green rectangle.

The Colombian came to Mexican football to enroll with Potros U.A.E.M. in the Apertura 2019, a team in which he stood out for his performances and for the Clausura 2020 he became a player of the Dorados de Sinaloa.

Zuñiga, also known as "La Pantera". Current top scorer in the Liga de Expansion 2021-2022 with 12 goals. Zuñiga is one of the few Dorados de Sinaloa players who has become the top scorer in the tournament with the team. He is also among the top foreign scorers, accumulating 28 goals in four tournaments under this format with Dorados de Sinaloa.
